Letter from President Dwight D. Eisenhower to Consuelo N. Bailey
1
Thank you very much for your kind cooperation and valuable assistance in the past two years as a memeber of the United States Post Office Advisory Board
Since the assumption of your duties as Lietenant Governor of Vermont necessitates your leaving the Advisory Board, I must, of course, accept your resignation as recently submitted. In doing so, I want to congratulate you on the new opportunity for service which has been bestowed upon you by the people of Vermont, and to convey to you my very best wishes.
